Jojoba Awapuhi Shampoo Bar:

Jojoba Awapuhi Shampoo Bar has ingredients that are moisturizing, anti-bacterial, and acne-fighting. Sweet almond oil, Jojoba oil, Castor oil, Olive oil, etc. If you close your eyes, the fragrance of this beautiful bar of luxury soap could make you believe that you were walking along the beach in the early morning. While the fragrance is definitely reminiscent of an ocean mist, you will also detect slight hints of fruit and spice. Delicious!

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
(An instruction sheet will also come with your bar of Jojoba Awapuhi Shampoo Bar)

Wet hair. Rub shampoo bar directly onto roots and along lengths of hair. Massage scalp gently with fingertips. Rinse. If desired, follow with your favorite conditioner.

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING NATURAL SHAMPOO BAR:

We want you to be pleased with your Jojoba Awapuhi Shampoo Bar, so please read the following instructions on how to use it properly.

When you switch to a natural shampoo bar, your hair will benefit because you will no longer be stripping the natural, protective oils from your hair. It may, however, take a couple weeks for your hair to adjust and stop over-compensating and over-producing oils that were being stripped by the standard shampoos.

Be aware that natural bar shampoos should not be used with silicone-based styling products as the natural shampoos do not contain the harsh detergents needed to remove the product residue. Therefore, if you’ve been using commercial styling products, it is best to use a clarifying shampoo once before transitioning to your gentle new bar shampoo. After a brief transition period, your hair will most likely be fuller, softer, and shinier with your bar, eliminating the need for styling products!

Vegan Soap: No animal products are ever used in our soaps.

Always moisturizing and gentle, our homemade soaps never dry and irritate like store soaps can, which often have a long list of unpronounceable chemical ingredients.

Jojoba Awapuhi Shampoo Bar will make your hair happy and chemical-free!

This listing is for 1 bar of Jojoba Awapuhi Shampoo Bar handcrafted vegan soap.

Ingredients: Sweet Almond Oil, Castor Oil, Coconut Oil, Jojoba Oil, Olive Oil, Palm Oil, Distilled Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Quality Fragrance Oil

Each bar comes wrapped in its own distinctive label and enclosed in a cello bag, ready for gift giving!

Each bar is appx. 4.5-5.0 oz.

Mother Natures Soap

Mother Natures Soap

Handmade soaps, shea body butters, oils, and bath salts.

At Mother Nature’s Soap we offer a wide variety of natural handmade soaps, shea body butters, bath salts, massage and body oils, deodorants and more. A quality product is important so we use oils of coconut, olive, palm, grapeseed wheat germ, jojoba and castor. We also use shea, mango and cocoa butters. These products are made in our home, so they are made in small batches. In producing natural handmade soaps the end result is a creamy, mild, less drying soap with a rich, bubbly lather.

Your Acne Stands No Chance Against These Zit-Killing Body Washes

Hair, Skin, Pink, Shoulder, Hairstyle, Neck, Beauty, Bun, Joint, Black hair,

Khadija Horton

Here’s the thing: Acne face washes are kiiiiiinda the worst. Even though active ingredients like salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide are excellent zit zappers, they’re usually paired with harsh sulfates—i.e., stripping cleansers usually found in dish soap—and the combination is way too drying and irritating for your sweet little face. The good news? The skin on your chest, back, shoulders, and butt is way less sensitive, which means acne body washes aren’t totally off the table to soothe your breakouts. So to help you get clear skin fast, I handpicked the nine best body washes that treat blackheads, whiteheads, and excess oil without turning your skin into a dry, flaky mess. Not all heroes wear capes.

(Psssst! We just launched a weekly newsletter that’s alllllll about acne, from the zit products that actually work to the best breakout tricks from derms. Do your skin a favor and subscribe)

1

Best Acne Body Wash for Bacne

Murad Acne Body Wash

Alright, pls do me (and your skin) a favor by staying away from physical exfoliators. Even though your body is tougher than your face, gritty scrubs do way more harm than good: They can create micro-tears in your skin that totally f*ck up your barrier and lead to more breakouts. Instead, opt for chemical exfoliants like glycolic and salicylic acids—which this acne body wash is full of—to gently and effectively clean your pores and minimize oil.

2

Best Drugstore Acne Body Wash

CeraVe SA Body Wash for Rough & Bumpy Skin

Another thing about chemical exfoliants: Even though it’s tempting to slather them on everyday to destroy your body acne, you’ll want to slowly work them into your routine to avoid irritation (think: once every three days until your skin adjusts). This drugstore option from CeraVe is a great starter wash, since it’s loaded with salicylic acid (to gently treat acne and bumps) and ceramides (to hydrate and strengthen your skin barrier).

3

Best Acne Body Wash for Sensitive Skin

Avène Cleanance Cleansing Gel for Face and Body

Not down to treat your body acne with a medicated wash? No prob, ’cause loading up on hydrating ingredients is just as important (and effective) in the fight against zits. This gentle body wash from Avène cleanses your skin without messing up your pH levels—a thing that can lead to breakouts—courtesy of gentle ingredients like glycerin and spring water.

4

Best Acne Body Wash Bar

Clinique Acne Solutions Cleansing Face and Body Soap

I get it—liquid body washes aren’t for everyone. That’s where this bar soap from Clinique comes in. It’s formulated with everything you want in a body acne cleanser (pore-clearing salicylic acid and hydrating glycerin) but with the creamy texture of an easy-to-handle bar.

5

Best Exfoliating Acne Body Wash

Glytone Exfoliating Body Wash

This acne body wash is great for fighting annoying breakouts (you can thank the formula’s 8.8 percent glycolic acid for its pore-unclogging powers). Smooth it over damp skin in the shower every three days to wash away dirt, excess oil, and (eventually) zits.

6

Best Cult-Favorite Acne Body Wash

Neutrogena Body Clear Acne Body Wash

There’s a reason this drugstore acne body wash has been on the market for years: The classic formula is a tried-and-true option for treating breakouts on your back, chest, and shoulders. Salicylic acid is the hero ingredient, obvi (are you sensing a theme here?).

7

Best Acne Body Wash with Botanicals

Mario Badescu A.H.A Botanical Body Soap

This prettily packaged acne body wash is spiked with a blend of alpha hydroxy acids—like papaya and grapefruit extracts—that fight rough, breakout-prone skin. This bb is gentle enough to use daily, BTW, and it hugs your skin with soothing oat protein and ginseng extract.

8

Best Acne Body Wash with Vitamin C

VI Derm Exfoliating Body Wash

The ingredients in this acne body wash are, like, ridiculously impressive. Alongside zit-fighters like glycolic and azelaic acids, you’ll also find vitamin C (helps brighten your skin tone) and vitamin E (soothes and hydrates). Tl,dr; you can’t go wrong with this one.

9

Best Acne Body Wash for Dry Skin

Epionce Purifying Wash

If salicylic acid is usually way too harsh and drying for your skin, don’t give up before you try this acne body wash from Epionce. Ultra-moisturizing coconut oil works alongside salicylic acid to keep your skin soft, hydrated, and zit-free.
